Issue # 4 Connectivity is an Issue

Most of District One is separated from the rest of Tucker by a solid industrial core east to west and 78 on the south. District 1 for the most part, is not a part of what most people thought of as Tucker and in many ways still is not. We must create a connected community which not only serves but draws with commercial, arts and living options.  It is more than bike paths and sidewalks it is about uniting the city physically.

#3 - Parks and Recreation is an Issue

Plantations Meet and Greet - Well Attended

Stanley Harper and Michael Eurey at their home.  We had a standing room only crowd in the informal discussion setting. There were a number of people who have not been active in local politics and issues attending and active in discussion and questions.

The hospitality and food creations were wonderful with many of the guests staying for conversation.  Guests were also generous in contributions and taking signs for their yards.

The Forest Meet and Greet

Marty Bryan hosted a Meet and Greet for neighbors from The Forest in her home.  Neighbors had a lot of questions about what had happened to "The Rise" development at the former Sears Property. Guests engaged in lively exchanges of the issues and liked the opportunity to have direct questions and answers with the candidate, Pat Soltys.

Virginia Rece, Campaign Co-Chair greeted all guests.  Marty served treats to the guests.  All guests pledged their support.
